Tell Me More About The Profound Human Project

The idea for this photography project sparked in late 2024. As an artist that ponders daily the purpose of life, the passage of time, and what it means to be human with all of our beauty, wisdom, and faults...the idea of starting a photography project that captures both the uniqueness of individuals through photography as well as the wisdom and life lessons that each individual has to share through quick interviews felt like absolute perfection.

Through this photography project, I hope to showcase that every human being is beautifully and uniquely made at birth and deeply and distinctively shaped throughout their life by their life story.

Through interviews, I hope to capture the essence of what it means to truly be human. I hope to showcase that regardless of what cultural, socioeconomic, or spiritual or religious background we come from, humans are far more alike than we are different, and every human being has profound wisdom to share.

Ultimately, I hope to show that despite the differences between human beings, there is a strong current that flows underneath us all that keeps us connected by the true essence of what it means to be deeply and profoundly human.
